We offer guided school tours for students of all ages that support the learning of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. If you would like to learn more about the specific TEKS covered in our tours, please email us at info@coppellhistoricalmuseum.org.

For the best experience, we split groups according to the overall size, with most of our tours averaging 20-25 students per historic building. Students will then rotate between the buildings with their group. We ask that one adult be present with each group.

Our tours generally last 1 to 1.5 hours with students spending about 15-25 minutes per historic building. We can accommodate tour length to fit your schedule.

We frequently partner with Coppell ISD elementary schools to explore what daily life was like in the past, as well as Coppell iLead to learn how different locals have stepped up as leaders and impacted our community. Our tours help students make connections between history and the world around them.
